To begin the celebration of the 30th anniversary, Coquette International is launching the 2009 Darque Catalog in Paris at the Interfiliere Show in January 2009.Darque is the fetish line of Coquette which has grown into main stream wear. ra. It creates a sensation in every crowd as was seen at the Toronto Fashion Week in October were Coquette made a big slash at the event. Head designer Elaine Carson , designer Carrie Russell and Catherine Horea mixed and mingled with the crowd. Fashion File immediately flagged Carson down to speak to her about her outfit (which was a PVC piece from the upcoming Darque collection to be released at the Paris Interfiliere Show in Jan. 2009). The ladies posed for countless pictures and were an inspiration to many designers. In this month of November, the head office of Coquette International Inc. is making its final move to a brand new building at 30 Wollesly Cr. ,Cambridge. It is a short move, just across the street form the old building. The new building was designed and built by Peter Horea, husband of Catherine . The spacious offices feature tempered glass windows and 9 feet ceilings. The principal office boasts a fireplace and a separate raised bamboo floor for personal meetings. We are all looking forward to working in one building again.
