Coquette featured in movie Bruno.

Captain Cohen & His Coquette Forces

Hollywood seems to be where every one's at these days! With popular celebrity diets, make-up tutorials, hair dos and don ts, and of course the core of Fashion Design. Hollywood will always have the first and final say of what's sexy, out of date and what's coming up, it's just the way it is and I don't think we'd have it any other way.

Coquette's two piece sexy G.I Girl costume, style M573, from our Masquerade catalogue, is set to be featured in the upcoming movie: Bruno. Starring Sacha Baron Cohen, who plays a fictional gay TV reporter that covers the fashion business. Be sure to check it out in theatres this Friday July 10th.

Making a grand entrance at the LA Premier of Bruno, atop his huge hybrid, fashionable army tank, he is followed by an army of sexy G.I Girl's all sporting Coquette's sexy Masquerade costume.

For those of you who are familiar with Cohen's controversial sense of humor and enjoy it, this movie appears to be outrageously hysterical. Take a look at the trailer : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GMGnNGkYfoo and also, check out the LA Premier: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fq5Oz4iNa6M .

Wicked Masquerade Costumes!

Let's face it, Toronto Ontario knows how to properly accommodate nightlife and they have some of the hottest clubs in the country! Toronto Life Magazine's June issue featured "50 Reasons to Love Toronto Right Now" which included attractions like the CN tower and the 5,493 same-sex marriages which took place in Toronto. Reason number 10 naturally piqued my interest with 'We may be polite, but we're not prudes' which featured Wicked Nightclub and a short Q & A about the club and how to sign up.

The picture they've included for their number 10 placement is 4 of Shlomo's Angels wearing the Police woman costumes by Masquerade from Coquette. Sexy costumes are a huge hit year round especially at Wicked Nightclub! Wicked Nightclub, located at 1032 Queen St West, is Toronto's first Hedonistic on-premise club. This club provides a safe, erotic environment where you can live out your sexual fantasies. Wicked claims to be "recession-proof" and I believe it, sex certainly sells! At 30,000 members, they continue to grow and draw about 20 % of their clients from the U.S. Check out our sexy Masquerade costumes we sell year round at: http://www.coquette.com/ .

A wide range of our sexy costumes include role play lingerie for under your costume, allowing you to be as risque as you like! Click here for the full Q & A on Wicked Nighclub & to see all the other 49 Reasons to Love Toronto Right Now: http://bit.ly/TorontoLife

Coquette's Party Featured on Body Magazine's Site.

We weren’t the only ones who had a blast at our 30th anniversary Lucky Strike party! One of my many favorite magazines, known as Body Magazine has featured an entire photo album of pictures on their website from our event. BODY is the leading news provider for the intimate apparel and body fashions industries in the U.S., reaching virtually every retail and wholesale executive through its monthly print trade magazine!

This event took place on April 20th after the International Lingerie Show in Las Vegas. Marcus Horea, VP of Sales and Marketing, stated, “The party was an amazing success, and attendees suggested making it an annual event.” The event went from 8:30pm until 12:00am and included contests and a $200.00 giveaway, which was awarded to Eddie Goldstein, a New York independent sales representative, for being the best bowler. In total, 140 people attended this event. Click here to check out all 46 pictures from this event: http://bit.ly/zC1OE

It’s What’s On the Inside That Counts.

If you’ve got your dress, cake, flowers, guests, hair, make-up, honeymoon, food, car, photographer and everything else perfectly planned to a T, then I’d say your almost set for that ultimate wedding you’ve been secretly planning since you were 10! As a female, I’ll point out that the most important part of that entire day is, in fact, how phenomenal the bride looks- It’s always about the bride. The dress is no doubt the main focus of this ‘perpetual parade of love’. The cut, color, beads, design, fabric, length - every last detail WILL be flawless (or ELSE). Well, no one (and I do mean NO ONE) enjoys the “or-else’s”, especially not the brides maids or mother of the bride as they have the ultra-high, stress-induced duty of making sure the bride is satisfied and everything runs smoother than smooth.

Well miss bride-to-be, I’ve got some news for you! I will agree 150% that the dress IS the most important part of a wedding, provided you have the groom in place already or at least a line up of potentials. A major part of the dress however, IS what you’re wearing under it. We all know it’s what’s on the inside that counts…yes this still remains true even if it’s just you and your sexy husband-to-be who gets the pleasure of seeing it! Lingerie can be intimidating to shop for, especially for your big day. It’s obvious you will be the sexiest bride to ever walk down the isle, but it’s also important to feel like it. Adding the proper sexy lingerie underneath your dress can also enhance your figure! For example, if you had trouble losing those last few inches around your waist before the big day, you could add a corset under your dress and cinch them away! If your dress has a low cut top, the right lingerie will perk up your breasts and accentuate your perfect cleavage. Take a look at these sexy styles that will complete your dress and perfect wedding night, he’ll think so too!

Storeroticas Extra Special April Issue.

Not only is it my job to make sure I keep on top of what's going on in our industry, but personally, I love to stay informed about how everyone else in the business/retail world is doing. Something about the obligation of reading Storerotica articles is appealing...Although, haven't quite figured out what it is yet. It probably has something to do with how fabulous the articles are and how sexy the nature of this magazine is.

April's issue is exceptionally special! Do you know why? If you don't I'd suggest you get your hands on a copy before it's too late. April's issue features an exclusive interview with our VP of Sales and Marketing, Marcus Horea. Marcus answered all kinds of questions about Coquette International and also provided tips for others in the lingerie industry and explains just how important team work is.

When asked if the recession has impacted Coquette International Inc, Marcus confidently replied, "I think this industry can hold its own in the recession, since people always want to have a good time and feel good about themselves. This is a time where some of us will prosper, as sex seems to always sell." Wise words of wisdom indeed.

Storerotica was formed in October 2008, when TEEZE and ASB Magazine decided to combine their efforts into one magazine. The readers of Storerotica are owners and buyers of retail stores that carry intimate apparel and erotic products, as well as manufacturers and distributors for those products.
